Circle Sounds Presents:
Haze – Birthed out of the boredom of rural village life in Buckinghamshire, Haze now reside in Bristol and make urgent, dissonant music, described as a ‘raucous and dripping with irony’ by So Young Magazine.
Lyrically, often adopting the biographical form, they have strived to deconstruct society, addressing topics such as toxic masculinity in ‘Ladz Ladz Ladz’ and false deification of historical figures in ‘Piochitas’ whilst maintaining a sense of humour that pervades their live shows.
Haze have recently taken to sweat-drenched stages with friends and contemporaries, including Sports Team, Hotel Lux, Phobophobes, Pip Blom and Shame as well as playing festival slots at Green Man and Truck Festival, amongst others.
Socially-conscious and hard-hitting, Haze are a band of startling intensity – with new music on its way and a run of highly anticipated tour dates ahead, 2020 looks set to be a breakthrough year for the post-punk newcomers.
